Sore
Plexus – “HaPTePHObiC”
This
is a work that will have its impact among the people who are willing to
appreciate it. Sore Plexus made their debut appearance about two years
ago with the mini-CD “visual aGNosia” (you can check about them at www.soreplexus.com).
The guys from Bochum of Germany return now with “HaPTePHObiC”, an album
which will fill with enthusiasm all of us who try to pull the plug of our
stress using the homeopathic method, that is, with albums and songs of
the same strain. In this new album, the band combines Watchtower, Deathrow,
Coroner, early Sieges Even and Mekong Delta, and other hysterical as much
as beloved groups. Perfect sound production, decent guitar work, eccentric
but suitable vocals (too bad that they changed their singer recently),
and a temerity that brings jazz, sitar and violins to their music, with
full success. Their own personality is obvious, and I hope that what I
recently heard about a split-up, to be completely false.
