Positives:
This is the first time I dig into Symphony X's music and all I can say is, I'm excited! These guys really know how to make good prog power metal. Every tune in this excellent CD seems to make sense. I have no idea of their past releases but this one has excellent influences from eastern melodies. Each song has a very interesting start, not like that 10 minute *silence* we've used to. Every progpower fan will love this excellent release.

Negatives:
Not really a negative but this CD lacks experimentation. The only thing that escapes from the ordinary, is that eastern melodies but King Diamond did that in the eighties. The voice would be more proper for space rock soundtracks of the eighties, but that's only my opinion.

In overall:
Friends of experimental music run away, before it's too late. This CD it may lacks exp elements but it will blow your head off with it's great prog *POWER*.
